David is the Prince Over Israel in the Millennium

David Prince Over Israel

In the latter days the children of Israel will seek the LORD and David their king (Hos. 3:5).  The Israelites will serve the LORD and David, whom will be raised up for their sake (Jer. 30:9).  David’s position is of such prominence in Israel that only the Lord Jesus outranks him.  Ezekiel 34:23-24:

And I will set up over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he shall feed them: he shall feed them and be their shepherd.  And I, the LORD, will be their God, and my servant David shall be prince among them. I am the LORD; I have spoken.

The LORD promises that He will rescue His flock Israel and judge between the sheep (Ezek. 34:22).  Jesus will then install David as the shepherd who will feed Israel spiritually (v. 23).  This is not unlike Jesus assigning Peter as a shepherd or pastor who was to feed the sheep that are God’s people (John 21:1-17).  While David is to be the prince over Israel, he is still a subject of the LORD Jesus (v. 24).  This may be why David is spoken of as a prince in some passages but as a king in others.  David will be a king relative to Israel but only a prince when compared to the King of kings.  In Ezekiel 37:24-25, David is referred to as being both a king and a prince in the same narrative.  The use of both titles hints at David’s status as the head of Israel while he serves under the Sovereign of the entire earth.

Prince David’s duties will include collecting and then presenting sacrifices on behalf of the people of Israel (Ezek. 45:16-17; 46:4-12).  He will eat from these sacrificial meals before the Lord Jesus in the hallowed outer east gate of the temple (Ezek. 44:1-3; 46:12).  David will enjoy the privilege of overseeing the observance of the Passover and the Feast of Tabernacles.  On Passover the prince will provide for the people and himself a bull for a sin offering.  He shall present various other offerings during the seven days of Passover and the seven days of the Feast of Tabernacles (Ezek. 45:22-25).

The prestige attached to David in these passages has led even those who usually interpret the Bible literally to argue that it is actually the Messiah who is in mind here.  The claim is that Jesus is being called David because He is his descendant.  This is impossible.  Jesus would never need to provide a sin offering for Himself, nor does He have sons (Ezek. 46:16).  The Messiah is divine (e.g. Is. 9:6-7) and it is He who is called LORD in Ezekiel 44:1-3.  In this passage and others, the LORD is differentiated from Ezekiel’s prince.  Even if the prince mentioned in Ezekiel chapters 44-46 was distinct from David the prince in Ezekiel chapters 34 and 37, there is still nothing in those contexts that identifies David as the Messiah.  Also, none of the passages refer to the Son or Branch of David, which is common when anticipating the Messiah.  Even if the Messiah is to fulfill some of these prophecies, David will undoubtedly occupy a high office.  It is perfectly in keeping with the overall thrust of Scripture that David would be given much responsibility in the Millennial Kingdom.  David is mentioned almost a thousand times in God’s Word.  Only Jesus is mentioned or referred to more often among men.

Comments

  1. The scriptures are clear. A servant of God named David will be the prince of Israel and then the king of Israel. There is a transition. Also Ezekiel makes it clear that animal sacrifices will be done in the temple again. Now that’s interesting isn’t it. If Jesus Christ atoned for humanities sins why would there need to be symbolic sacrifices again?

    • Matthew Ervin says

Please provide the passage that demonstrates the transition you speak of. The fact that Ezekiel and other prophets tell of future sacrifices hardly results in something that militates against the death of Messiah. Please read my article here, or order my book with even more details here.

      • Reddzone1 says

He found that “transition” in Ez.37:22-
        25. I would like to know where’s the verse for animal sacrifices for atonement of sin in the mellenium when sin is no longer a factor in eternity? Verse 22 negates that theory as many other scriptures and precepts throughout the Bible. Yes their will be animal sacrifices but not for sin atonement but ie “to offer burnt offerings, to burn grain offerings, and to make sacrifices forever.” Jer.33:18 None of those sacrifices included anything about sin. Make NO mistake about it there will be NO sin in His Kingdom for eternity. Hence why “He’s coming back for a Church (people) without spot wrinkle blemish or ANY such thing!” Eph.5:27 That’s why we have to obey ALL His commandments and repent from sin NOW. Acts 3:19 It’s “our duty!” Ecc.12:13 1John2:4 James 2:10 Yah bless!

  2. YaHoVeH ELoHIM bless you and keep you brother

Through Ezekiel, The LORD declares David’s reign several times, and in 37:25 punctuates it with “forever” ( “olam” – the Hebrew word for the figure 8 lying on its side)!
Not only will David be King of Israel in the Millennium but throughout the Eternal Kingdom as well!
    I am so monumentally jazzed . . .

    • Matthew Ervin says

I love your attitude! What God has said about our future should excite His people. And yes, good point. I suspect that many of the millennial offices, if not all, will carry over into the Eternal State.

    • Rev 2 & 3 He who overcomes to the end is one man Prince David Given reign over the earth Rev 2:26 & 27 Lives forever Rev2:7 and sits at Jesus’ right hand Rev 3:21. He is also the man that opens the seven seals in Rev 5:5

  3. I need more scriptural proofs that this prince is David. I know he isn’t Jesus and David fits but I need more proof from various passages for support so I can teach this with confidence.

    • Matthew Ervin says

I have provided all the references to passages that speak directly on the matter in this article. Even one direct passage that declares David to be the prince should be more than enough since it would be God-breathed. Of course, Ezekiel 34:23-24 flatly states the fact. I go into the millennial offices, including David’s, in more detail here.

  4. Ezekiel 34 and 37 as was already stated plus Jeremiah 30 and Hosea 3 all state that David will be the King/Messiah of the coming New Covenant. Absolutely no where in the Blessed and Holy Hebrew Bible is Jesus referred to or named. All of the New Testament/New Testimony was a conjured up book of tall tales and complete fiction that was written by the Gentile Romans after they murdered the people of Jerusalem and plundered and destroyed Yahweh’s Holy Temple around 70 AD. The heathen and pagan Trinity was a lie from Constantine, his hired 318 Bishops (and others with high/dignified sounding titles) and the evil one at the Council of Nicaea in 325 AD. No Jews wrote any of the New Testimony but some of the books/letters were given names of Jews in an underhanded attempt to hopefully give the New Testimony some credibility. After those heathen and pagan Gentile Romans conquered Jerusalem they were determined to create their own god and their false god they invented was the supposed blood of a man that was said to “save them from hades/hell” by simply believing on the blood of a person/Jesus that never, ever, lived.

There is only one God of this World and that is Yahweh (God’s Hebrew Name). There are no other gods besides Yahweh. Yahweh was the same yesterday, today and forever. Yahweh does not change like the pagan and heathen New Testimony falsely claimed. Yahweh’s Laws, Torah and Commands (Yahweh’s Statutes, Ordinances and Judgments) were in effect yesterday, today and forever and ever, and anyone that claims differently is a liar and the truth is not in him.

    • Matthew Ervin says

Trent, do me a favor and read the New Testament. I think you’ll find it is undeniable Jewish. I would also like you to pray to the Lord that He guides you in the truth. This is something that we should all want to pray, is it not?
Regarding the Trinity, it’s simply historically inaccurate to suggest it was created by Constantine. We surely see the concept of the Lord’s complex unity throughout the Tanakh, most notably in the Shema (see here: http://appleeye.org/2017/06/05/an-introduction-to-old-testament-christophanies-with-justin-martyr/). Furthermore, you have believers in Jesus/Yeshua Messiah teaching the doctrine before Constantine or Nicea. Indeed, Tertullian is often credited with writing the first comprehensive work on the subject.
If you have any questions or need something I can help you with, please get back with me.

      • Matthew: The very reason I am at the high level of understanding/wisdom of Yahweh’s Word that I am now at is because many times I have humbly prayed to Yahweh and asked Him that I may be able to understand the truth of His Word. Yahweh has graciously and kindly allowed me to understand, to a certain extent, the Bible. I understand that is New Testimony is a group of fake books/letters because it teaches the exact opposite of what the Holy Hebrew Bible teaches.

There is no time to waste on something that is as worthless as the paper that the fake New Testimony is written on. Only the Righteous Descendants of Adam and Eve will be allowed to Resurrect into the New Covenant. To be considered Righteous by Yahweh we must follow Yahweh’s Laws, Torah and Commands.

Absolutely no one can die for your sins as is falsely taught in the New Testimony. The Hebrew Bible is the “Tree of Life”. The New Testimony is “The tree of the knowledge of good/truths and evil/lies”. The serpent/satan beguiled/seduced Adam and Eve in The Garden of Eden. And now the serpent/satan is beguiling/seducing the descendants of Adam and Eve that live on this Earth with the book of lies that some call the New Testament.

Those that pray to Yahweh cancel their prayers when they end their prayer by saying: “in the name of Jesus”. Yahweh is a jealous God and absolutely will not tolerate those that have false gods.

        • Matthew Ervin says

I’m terribly concerned for you sir; to reject the Son is to reject the Father. Have you been able to perfectly keep the Torah?

          • Matthew: There is no need for you to be concerned about/for me. You need to be more concerned about your lack of wisdom/understanding of the lawless teachings of the New Testament/New Testimony. Apparently you have fallen for the false teachings of the heathen and pagan Gentile Romans. It is more than obvious that you have been wholly beguiled/seduced by the detestable book of tall tales that were taught in the more than worthless New Testimony. You are simply following the traditions of man instead of following the traditions of God/Yahweh.

So, since you think no one can follow Yahweh’s Laws, Torah and Commands perfectly you incorrectly think that no one should attempt to follow Yahweh’ Blessed Laws. Show me one verse in the New Testimony where the supposed Jesus/Yeshua or any of the supposed 12 Apostles said/taught that one jot or tittle of Yahweh’s Laws, Torah or Commands had been done away with. You simply cannot do it!

Deuteronomy 12:32: See that you do all I command you; do not add to it or take away from it.

Deuteronomy 4:2: Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the LORD your God that I give you.

Proverbs 30:5-6: 5 Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. 6 Do not add to his words, or he will rebuke you and prove you a liar.

The above verses from the Blessed and Holy Hebrew Bible prove, without any doubt whatsoever, that no writings were to be added to or taken away from the Holy Hebrew Bible. Those heathen and pagan Gentile Romans were a little late to the party, so to speak, and their false teachings are as worthless as worthless can possibly be.

Matthew: You are simply worshipping a false god. Following a false god will lead you to hades/hell without any possibility of being resurrected into the New Covenant as is so plainly taught in Ezekiel 34, 37; Jeremiah 30 and Hosea 3.

          • Matthew Ervin says

By your logic, nothing after Deuteronomy was written is Scripture. And if that is so, why quote Agur in Proverbs? Could it be that there was a context to what Moses and the sage respectively wrote that is not speaking to the complete Canon of Scripture?

You strawman what the New Testament teaches. The New Testament, or New Covenant, is just that: it lays out how the New Covenant has been initiated by the spilled blood of Messiah Jesus. Jesus Himself explained, ““Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.” (Matt 5:17-18). He continues to teach that, ” “For I say to you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven.” Now understand, the Pharisees were seen as those who came the closest to keeping the Torah. However, even their adherence was not enough to stand before a holy God. This is why I am concerned for you Trent. You could never keep the law well enough to be accounted as righteous. It requires blood to atone for sin, i.e. the Messiah’s blood. Trust in Him, for He is the exact image of the Father. To mock Him and His Word is a rejection of the God revealed in the Tanakh.

I am happy to continue to dialogue with you. But please understand, I will not allow my site to be a forum for endless mocking of God’s Word. Blessings to you.

          • Matthew Ervin says

            Trent,

I warned you that I would not allow any mockery of Messiah Jesus or His word on my site. Just to quickly respond to your now deleted comment: I do not believe that the New Covenant has been fulfilled, only initiated. I cover that in my book available on Amazon and just finished wiring a piece on it for a book coming out early next year.
Again, I allowed you a few mocking comments for the sake of reaching out to you. In addition, you never answer my questions while I take a moment to address yours. So, for now at least, we are going to have to leave this conversation as is. Blessings to you. I’ll be praying for your salvation.

            In Messiah Jesus,

I think you both got a point. Although I believe in the New Testament and Jesus as King, still I think Jews should continue making G-d their life and pray to Him. It’s different from the gentiles who should make Jesus their life and pray to Him. All should love G-d with their whole heart, soul and mind.

  5. randall hewgley says

If it is David of old how can he have sons?
Ezekiel 46:16 — Thus saith the Lord GOD; If the prince give a gift unto any of his sons, the inheritance thereof shall be his sons’; it shall be their possession by inheritance

One reason it can’t be King David of old is how can David have more children if we are like the angels and don’t give or take in marriage? Also Jesus for that matter. Sons with a literal inheritance.

    • Matthew Ervin says

Thank you for the question. The basic answer is that these are sons David already had, which have been resurrected alongside him. I have a more detailed version of this article here: http://appleeye.org/2015/12/21/the-millennial-temple-the-prince-of-feasts-part-7/

      • Joshua David says

Prince David is the 1 of the 144k that Jesus talks about coming out of the tribe of Judah(American) and earns power over all nations, rod of iron, and morning star Revelation 2:26-29. This is a man who is alive now and overcomes the tribulation. Red Horse leaves before end of year. Store up to help others as a testimony of Yeshua’s love and to grow the kingdom.

  6. How do you think David will come back? Jesus will come from Heaven and will show himself with all His divinity, that’s clear. But how will David? Will he be resurrected and be like the rest of us waiting for Christ? And if so, will he even know he’s David until Christ returns? This whole transition concerning resurrection is a bit confusing to me…

    • Matthew Ervin says

Yes, I hold that he will be resurrected along with the other saints to enter into the Messianic Kingdom. This resurrection will happen in tandem with the return of Jesus, so there wouldn’t be some wait time on earth for those brought back to life. I don’t know why David wouldn’t realize who he was.

      • Sorry let me rephrase it. Would David and the other saints resurrected through reincarnation rather they coming from the clouds? Ezekiel 37 clearly shows a story of reincarnation

        • Matthew Ervin says

They will be resurrected, meet the Messiah in the clouds, and then at some point later return with Him in victory (see 1 Thess 4:13-17).

  7. Verily, verily I say unto thee, ask and ye shall receive; because with God nothing is impossible. And so begins the great cleansing of this heinous world, for I am inevitable. I will set the stage for the arrival of the son of David, for his time is near.

He was a man whose tongue held no lies,
For he was the direct descendant of our father in the heavenly skies.
Born to a body of fleshy sin,
Though what laid beneath was unlike the rest of his kin.

    Jesus had the utmost grace,
Never being wavered by evils face.
He was wise beyond any years,
Performing miracles that would bring crowds to tears.

A beacon of light on top of a starless mountain,
Where words of wisdom poured out of him as if there ran a cosmic fountain.
His eyes pierced through you with a single glance,
Leaving even the most hardened individuals in quite the trance.

The Holy Spirit so ever majestically flowed inside this man,
Naturally people caught notice and became a fan.
Students began showing up from every mold,
When they heard his words their hearts were sold.

Wicked men put a price on Jesus’s head,
He was wanted alive or dead.
Despite this he and his disciples continued their teachings,
Where on occasion they endured terrible beatings.

One of the twelve apostles turned to black,
    No longer having Jesus’s back.
Judas Iscariot had done Satan’s bidding,
And it is in hell where he now is sitting.

Jesus died on the cross to pay for our shortcoming,
However don’t be saddened for if you believe in him you will see him at your homecoming.
There he sits at the right hand of God’s throne,
Being the voice of truth and love that we all have known.

Wobbling on the edge of utter desolation,
Where thoughts of death become a fascination.
I take a step backwards and continue to sway,
Is this the final hand that I will play?

While what lays behind me is probably eternal rest,
Is this decision the very best?
Death is certain and that much I know,
However there is still life in me left to flow.

    Perhaps this anguish can evolve,
Maybe this question isn’t impossible to solve.
If I pay a visit to the abyss,
There are so many things here that I will miss.

Some things good and some things bad,
Joyful events and those which are sad.
    When will this perspective shift?
I desperately need my spirits to lift.

I look in the mirror and remember every scar,
The result of my despair I need not look far.
Thoughts race through me, shackles tighten,
I scream and then peculiarly my sense of awareness begins to heighten.

A new thought washes through my being,
I take a second glance in the mirror unsure of what I’m seeing.
The burden within me feels far lighter,
A winning result for this righteous fighter.

The ground stops shaking and I gain some composure,
Taking a step towards what was once an enclosure.
Shadows fade away revealing what they left in the dark,
Being pulled forward my soul begins to embark.

Satan’s tongue is coated in a layer of deceit,
And he tramples over promises with his feet.
He’s a being who is bound by deceptions,
Whose very essence oozes with misconceptions.

He struggles to look you in your eyes,
For his gaze holds nothing but lies.
On occasion he will give you his hand,
But don’t be fooled by his stand.

He seeks to corrupt your heart,
You would be wise to avoid him from the start.
Seeking quick pleasures and casting aside love,
He traverses this land with push and shove.

Now Lucifer was once not lost,
But pride blinded him at a cost.
    Disobeying God he waged war,
    Becoming detestable to the core.

Today he is the ruler of Earth,
Though for all his power he has no real worth.
However most of us have still been sold,
Giving into sin and becoming cold.

Nearly everyone is a puppet dancing on strings,
Marching to delusion for their unjust kings.
My people have given into lust,
    Becoming robots full of rust.

42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
44 Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.
JESUS COMES AT A TIME WHEN NO ONE EXPECTS, MAKES THAT MAN RULER OF ALL JESUS WAS GIVEN BY THE FATHER
    Matthew chapter 24
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Eze 34:23

This scripture also can be seen to describe He who overcomes to the end (Prince David)
    Revelations Chapter 2
7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
    HE WILL LIVE FOREVER
11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
NOT HURT WHEN THE LORD RETURNS
17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
    SECRET KNOWLEDGE, SAULT.
26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
MAKE RULER king as a servant OF THE WORLD EVEN AS JESUS RECEIVED FROM THE FATHER.
28 And I will give him the morning star.
    SUBDUE SATAN

    Revelations Chapter 3
5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
    CLEAN HIM, GUIDE HIM
12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
MAKE HIM THE HEAD OF THE CHURCH ON EARTH IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH GOD
21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne
SIT AT JESUS’S RIGHT HAND AS JESUS SITS AT THE FATHER’S RIGHT HAND

    Mark chapter 10
37 They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory.
38 But Jesus said unto them, Ye know not what ye ask: can ye drink of the cup that I drink of? and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?
39 And they said unto him, We can. And Jesus said unto them, Ye shall indeed drink of the cup that I drink of; and with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized:
40 But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.
41 And when the ten heard it, they began to be much displeased with James and John.
42 But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.
43 But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great among you, shall be your minister:
44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.
45 For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
REQUESTS TO SIT AT THE RIGHT AND LEFT HAND OF JESUS. THE FATHER CHOOSES WHO SITS AT THE RIGHT AND LEFT HAND OF JESUS IT IS OUT OF HIS CONTROL. THE GREATEST WILL BE SERVANT TO ALL
    John chapter 21
20 Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?
21 Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?
22 Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
23 Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?
PETER ASKS JESUS WHAT ROLE JOHN WHO JESUS LOVED WOULD PLAY. WOULD HE BE ALIVE WHEN JESUS RETURNED he who overcomes to the end.
As the Father willed from the beginning Jesus returned at a time no one would be looking for His return. God choose one man to be watching according to His plan. That man a servant of Jesus Christ would be given The right hand of Jesus to sit with the Lord on His throne with the Father.

David can’t be the prince and the priest. He is not a Levite. A priest had to be a Levite. Read Psalm 110. It’s referening to the branch of David. Dawid does not qualify to be both. But Jeshua does, he is from the branch of Dawid but also comes from the priesthood of Melgisedek, so He can be prince and priest:)

Where in the article is it stated that David would be a priest? If you are referring to offering sacrifices, remember that this system is completely separate from the Mosaic system. So you cannot equate Mosaic system rules here. Read more on that here: http://appleeye.org/2013/05/24/the-sacrifices-performed-in-the-millennial-temple-are-in-harmony-with-that-of-the-messiah/
The plain language of Ezekiel 34:23-24 settles the matter. It is not up to us to override what God has said.

      • It is my guess that when King David is Resurrected as the Shepherd/Servant /King/Messiah at the end of this Earth Age that all of the Righteous will be Resurrected at that time. If so, then it will be too late for those that follow the pagan New Testament and the false god Jesus to do an about face and start following the true God YHWH and observing YHWH’s Laws/Torah. It will simply be: “Too late to the Party” as the saying goes. Those that YHWH does not consider to be Righteous will remain in the grave forever and ever with absolutely no hope of a Bodily Resurrection into Paradise/Heaven/YHWH’s Rest.

Millions upon millions of deceived, beguiled and wholly seduced people have been shamefully led to believe, by money hungry so called ministers, that all they have to do is to merely “invite Jesus into their heart” and all will go well! Such false heathen and pagan teachings go completely against the teachings of the Blessed and Holy Hebrew Bible!

        • Matthew Ervin says

          Trent,

First, recognize that New Testament was written by Jews. The Roman Catholic Church didn’t even exist for hundreds of years after the New Testament was written. Also, to reject Jesus is to reject YHWH, for Jesus is YHWH (e.g., John 8:58). As YHWH the Son, Jesus is the exact image of the Father in heaven. If you really want to honor the Hebrew Bible, then believe on the One who Moses and the prophets wrote about, and indeed worshipped.
I can agree with your suggestion on the Bible readings. It’s shame you think they somehow disprove Jesus as divine Messiah–when in fact, they only verify the New Testament.

          • Matthew: The Book of fiction, the New Testament, was originally written in Greek which was the native language of the Romans. If the Jews had written the New Testament it would have been written in their native language which was either Aramaic or Hebrew. The New Testament was written by Romans, specifically the wealthy Piso Family (Pagan Roman Catholics) along with the rest of the Pompous Roman Catholic Church in an attempt to create their new god that they called Jesus and their new “New Testament” so called bible that was a book of tall tales and complete fiction.

TheTrue God YHWH (the Creator of the World that we live in) was the same yesterday, today and forever. In other words YHWH does not change and neither does YHWH’s Torah/Laws change. The worthless New Testament claimed that YHWH’s Torah/Laws changed and that is a lie from the evil one and any evil person that claims that YHWH’s Laws changed.

You claim that the Catholic Church didn’t exist when the New Testament was written but I suggest that you rethink that because the Pagan Roman Catholic Church specifically claimed that the supposed Peter was the heinous Catholic Church’s First Pope.

The very first New Testament was written in 331CE which was three hundred years after the supposed Jesus died. The 325CE Council of Nicaea was administered and funded by the Pagan Sun Worshipping Roman Emperor Constantine. That worthless 325 Council of Nicaea decided on many things including the false Trinity (three gods in one) and what writings (letters) would make up their new “New Testament”. All the writings that were not selected for the New Testament were burned by order of Constantine. If you have any interest in reading about how the New Testament got started you can read about it here: “The Forged origins of the New Testament” written by Tony Bushby. (You can find it with a Google search and read it for free).

I noticed that you try to prove that Jesus is the Messiah by quoting the fake New Testament. Nowhere in the Blessed and Holy Hebrew Bible is the name of Jesus mentioned or even referred to.

If you are dead set determined to follow a false bible and false god then you have that right just like you have the right to remain in the grave forever and ever with no hope of a Bodily Resurrection into Paradise/Heaven/YHWH’s Rest. Only those that follow the true God (our Creator YHWH) and follow YHWH’s Laws/Torah will, at the end of this Earth Age, be declared Righteous by YHWH and be Bodily Resurrected into Paradise/Heaven/YHWH’s Rest as is so simply described in the Hebrew Bible and specifically in Ezekiel 34, 37; Jeremiah 30 and Hosea 3.

It is my hope that you will do an about face and stop following the false bible (new testament) and the false god (Jesus) and start following the True Bible the Hebrew Bible and the True God YHWH!

          • Matthew Ervin says

C’mon now, if you want to be taken seriously, you have to at least present some basic facts. Latin was the native language of the Roman Empire. Greek was prominently spoken by many Jewish people (who had been Hellenized) in the first century. Many rabbis even preferred to use the Septuagint. Hebrew wasn’t in much use by the non-scholar class in the first century, which is why the rabbis had relied on the Aramaic Targums to teach Scripture since the return from Babylon. Besides that, we do have early historical records of Hebrew versions of New Testament books, especially the Gospel of Matthew.

I am an evangelical pastor. So I’m not sure why you think that I would agree that Peter was a pope.

Now I’ve warned you about this in the past and I’ll write it just one more time: You are free to comment and disagree as you wish. However, I won’t allow my site to be used as a platform for insults against the Lord God Jesus Christ and/or the Word of God–which is the Tanakh and the B’rit Chadashah (New Testament).

          • Matthew: I suggest that you do a little research on how prevalent the Hebrew Language was among the Jewish People during the 1st Century. If you will it is my guess that you will find out that in Jerasalem in the 1st century Hebrew was the most commonly spoken language. Hebrew was also the language in which most literary works were written at that time in history.

I am not going to waste much more time with you since it is more than obvious to me that you have been beguiled and wholly seduced by the false teachings of the pagan and heathen Romans and the detestable Roman Catholic Church!

          • Matthew Ervin says

Since you don’t have a desire to actually interact with what I’ve said, but only wish to insult, then it would be best that you moved on.

  13. Some misguided/beguiled/seduced people are dead set determined to worship and follow the false god Jesus. The entire Roman Catholic New Testament is a book of complete fiction and is not worth the paper it was written on and not worth the ink it was written with. Only those that follow YHWH (YAHWEH) and observe YHWH’s Laws/Torah will be determined Righteous by YHWH at the end of this Earth Age and will be allowed to enter into Paradise/Heaven/YHWH’s Rest as is so plainly and simply explained in the Blessed and Holy Hebrew Bible. I suggest that everyone read Ezekiel 34, 37; Jeremiah 30 and Hosea 3 along with the rest of the Hebrew Bible.

  14. Through Jesus billions of people found faith and hope, a blessing to this very bad world. In Christianity there’re no second class citizens as well like there is in Judaism. Also almost all people going to church go their for their faith, the times I went to the synogogue most people were atheist and just came for the traditions. In Christianity there’s no Talmud as well which I count as a blessing too. Also no making up stories like that Isaiah didn’t write his own book and creating false stories to some of the chapters. It’s easy to see Jesus’ Word is the true Word of God, if you want Jesus in old testament read his speech in Isaiah 50. Also he teaches not insane rules like with the toilet paper but truth, peace, love, being humble and not follow your own way which is bad. See also Matthew 25:31-33 what he wants from people. Then if he says no, it’s to destruction. Judaism doesn’t teach there’s a hell but I felt it and sometimes appear in NDE’s. It’s much worse then you think. Also I’ve stood right in front of the Throne of God so I don’t think like you said God will forget about me because I accept Jesus and don’t follow your Talmud.

Also Matthew is a pastor which means he’s not a Catholic, get your facts straight. For some it’s an insult.

  15. Chris Dubois says

Hi Matthew! Thank you for this great teaching! I do have a question for you, however. If David will reign as the prince for 1000 years, why would he offer a sin offering for himself (Ezekiel 45:22) and other such offerings because he would have already received a resurrected, perfected, sinless, and glorified body coming into the millennial kingdom? I understand why children born and others that came through the great tribulation that don’t have resurrected bodies would need to offer sacrifices, but how could David at least in regard to sin offerings (I suppose he could offer thanksgiving offerings)? Thank you again!

    • Matthew Ervin says

That’s very kind of you, and that’s an excellent question. The way I understand it, this side of the cross, is that David will offer sacrifices for his own sin as a memorial. Other sacrifices on behalf of perfected saints would also apply. However, sacrifices for sinners living during the Millennium would still be meant to cover sins. Hope this helps brother.
